Dr. Aparajitha is one of the best neonatologists and paediatricians, working at Rainbow Hydernagar. One of her super powers is her ability to bond with children within no time.
She is an aluminus of Rangaraya medical college (MBBS) and batch topper of Andhra medical college (MD paeds). She worked for corporates such as Apollo cradle and Chettinad super speciality hospital in chennai to further her experience.
Owing to her immense interest in neonates, she did a fellowship in neonatology from the prestigious Edgehill university of United kingdom. She worked at busy units like Cumberland Infirmary and Prince Charles hospital in UK and Wales delivering quality care.
She has presented posters and papers on rare and interesting scenarios like Vein of galen malformation, Interrupted aortic arch, Enteroviral early onset sepsis presenting as SVT and myocardial infraction, Pleural effusions masquerading as Chylothorax at various state, national and international platforms. She published many articles like Varicella in neonates , CABS score to prognosticate a sick child etc; in various national and international journals. She passionately participates in teaching activities, Quiz, Audits and quality improvement projects (QIP).
A part from providing wholistic care to out-patients treating bacterial and viral ailments, she delivers mandatory and optional vaccination advice, Breast feeding and weaning counselling, developmental screening. Qualifying in pediatric nutrition from Boston university in USA, she wins mums with her tailored nutritional advice.
Her areas of interest also include Premature and low birth weight infants, managing respiratory distress syndrome with state of art equipment like CPAP, Bipap, HFNC. Works with conventional and HFO ventilators as and when required. She delivers surfactant through skill driven, less invasive latest modalities like LISA.
She is a mom magnet. She is passionate about supporting breastfeeding and strives to support new moms to the best of her abilities. She is an influencer on Instagram and youtube. She made appearances in various TV interviews striving to promote child and mother well being.
