Dr. Sruthi Balla is a Pediatric Nephrologist known for her specialization in managing kidney disorders in children. She began her medical journey at Narayana Medical College, Nellore, where she earned her MBBS with distinction, securing Gold Medals in both General Medicine and General Surgery. Her outstanding academic performance earned her the "Best Outgoing Student" award from the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council, Cash Award from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. She continued her academic excellence by completing her post-graduation in MD Pediatrics from JSS Medical College, Mysuru, and was awarded a University-level Gold Medal for achieving the highest marks in Pediatrics. She went on to pursue a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Nephrology from Government Mohankumara mangalam Medical College, Salem, Tamil Nadu, where she specialized in adult nephrology. She further completed a prestigious fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at Medanta The Medicity, Gurugram, gaining advanced training in managing critically ill children with kidney diseases.
She is proficient in treating complex conditions such as difficult to treat nephrotic syndrome, acute kidney injury, and chronic kidney disease , providing advanced dialysis treatments and managing children requiring renal transplantation. She has presented numerous papers at national and international conferences. In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in research and has contributed to medical studies aimed at advancing treatment options for pediatric kidney diseases. She has co-authored multiple research papers and has participated in clinical trials that explore new therapies, for children with atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome.
She is a member of The Indian Society of Nephrology, Indian society of organ transplantation and Indian Academy of Paediatrics. She is dedicated to providing personalized care and using the latest treatments to ensure the best outcomes for her young patients.
