She has total 28 years of epereince in the field of Obstetrics and Gynectology. She graduated from MMC in 1993. She completed her post graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology from MMC in 1996. She went to United Kingdom in 1996 to pursue further training. She completed her training in UK and is certified to practive a Consultant in her field. She also completed 2 years fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from Birmingham Women's Hospital Univertisy of Birmingham United Kingdom. She is also trained in Ultrasound Scanning including 3D, 4D Scanning an also trained in Laparoscopic & Hysteroscopic surgery. She provides comprehensive and evidence based care in Obstetrics especially in high risk Obstetrics & Gynecology and Infertility. Minimizing caesarean section rate is her main aim and she has been ensuring close to 85% normal delivery rates for her patients. She has been practising in India since 2007. She has been actively involved in teaching post graduate studing doing their Dip. NR training. She has been a guide for the thesis work of her post graduate students. She coordinates the MRCOG past 3 training courses in Tamilnadu. She conducts various practical obstetric skills and perineal repairworkshops as a part of ATNRCOG.
