Dr Aravind Anand is a consultant in Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive care with over 12 years of experience in the field of pediatrics. He completed diploma in Child Health (DCH) under RGUHS, Karnataka and later the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) degree in Pediatric under the National Board of Examinations, Delhi. He underwent specialist training in Neonatology and obtained Fellowhip in Neonatology under the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. He has also successfully completed the Membership of Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (UK) examinations. Having worked in Pediatrics and Neonatology at different hospitals in India, he pursued furthermore specialty training in Pediatric Intensive Care and Pediatric Cardio-respiratory intensive care in London, UK and worked in world renowned hospitals including King's College Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Royal Brompton Hospital, London. He was awarded the MTI (p) Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care by the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (UK) and clinical fellowship in Pediatric cardio-respiratory intensive care at Royal Brompton Hospital. His interests include Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric emergencies and trauma care, Pediatric high dependency care. For the past 2 years, he was working as the lead consultant pediatric intensivist at a leading corporate hospital in Whitefield, Bangalore
