Dr Pratima Verma is a Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Nephrologist at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Financial District. 

She has completed her MBBS from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad following which she completed her Paediatric Training ( MRCPCH and CCT Paediatrics) in West Midlands, UK

She has completed specialty training ( SPIN module) in Paediatric Nephrology at Birmingham Children’s Hospital in 2014. During her training and beyond she has gained experience in treating many children with complex kidney conditions. Her overall experience in Paediatrics is around 20 years out of which 15 years were spent working and training in the UK and since 2019 she has been a part of the Nephrology team at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad. 


She also spent 2 months in Paediatric Nephrology dept at St. John’s Medical College after moving back to India. She has attended many national and international Paediatric and Nephrology conferences as delegate and faculty. She has a postgraduate certificate in Medical Education and is regularly involved in teaching postgraduate trainees and nursing staff. She is a member of Indian Society of Paediatric Nephrology (ISPN), Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health ( RCPCH), and International Paediatric Nephrology Association(IPNA).
