Dr.Vidyasagar Chandankere has graduated (MBBS) from Karnataka Medical College (Hubli) and completed his MS Orthopedics from Sree Siddhartha Medical College (Tumkur). He was involved in teaching as well as clinical works in various medical colleges in Karnataka (Navodaya Medical College, Raichur) as well as Hyderabad (Mediciti medical college).

Most childhood injuries and problems were managed in past by general orthopedic surgeons, but he chooses to dedicate his full-time to childcare as a specialty. He is one of first surgeons who started PediatricOrthopedic surgery as a subspecialty in Hyderabad.

He gained extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal problems in children from prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore. His vast experience in hip surgeries comes from his training at King Khalid Hospital, Tabuk and Duchess of Kent children's Hospital, Hong Kong.

Apart from managing common traumatic injuries in children, he also corrects deformities in both upper and lower limbs. He also underwent cadaveric hands on training and does advanced procedures on hips meant to prolong life of a natural hip (Hip preservation surgeries).
